Oh my days! The breakfast spread was legendary—locally sourced goodness that tickled the taste buds. And Claudia? What a gem! She transformed our stay into a warm family affair. The atmosphere was cozy, and her attention to detail was spot on.
Now, here’s the cheeky bit, the local village pub has packed it in, which would’ve made grabbing a bite easier, but no worries! With Masham just a quick five-minute jaunt, we still had plenty of lovely food pubs to pick from.

Wow, my stay was fantastic! Claudia prepared an amazing breakfast with tons of local options including her homemade fruit compote, which was delicious. The kitchen/dining space was cozy, perfect for having a chat. And Pepper, her dog, was just adorable. Honestly, I can’t wait to visit again! 🥳

The shower in the bathroom was not functional during my stay, which put a damper on my routine. The shared living space with the owner made it feel less private than expected, almost like being trapped in a tiny sector of a starship. The overall decor felt dated, and the bathroom showed signs of wear. Not having easy access to dining options nearby was also a bit of a struggle.

The free-standing bath was a delight! Breakfast was superb with great local ingredients. Only downside was the Wi-Fi info not provided in the room details. 🛁

Claudia's warm hospitality shines bright
From the moment we arrived, Claudia made us feel like family. The cottage is charming, nestled in a tranquil village, perfect for leisurely walks. Breakfast was homemade and delightful, featuring local ingredients that truly showcased the region's flavors. We loved enjoying a cup of coffee in the garden while chatting with Claudia and her adorable dog, Pepper.
While the cottage was delightful, the lack of dining options nearby was a bit challenging. The local village pub has closed, and a short drive was necessary for dinner, which could be inconvenient for those who prefer to dine closer to home.

A Perfect Getaway in a Tranquil Setting
Just returned from a wonderful two-night escape. Claudia made us feel right at home, and Pepper, her charming dog, added to the relaxed atmosphere. Enjoyed a delicious breakfast using local produce. Don’t miss the shortcut to Ripon if you’re looking to explore the area!

The Economy Double Room featured a charming atmosphere with plenty of cold dishes available for breakfast. the lack of a nearby pub was disappointing, necessitating a drive to find dining options. The shared living space with the owner diminished the sense of privacy, making me feel confined during my stay.
